Kockott cooks as Castres bounce back

Rory Kockott scored 21 points as Castres hammered Grenoble 51-10 to move off the bottom of the Top 14 log.

The former Sharks scrumhalf, who is set to make his Test debut for France in November, grabbed a try and kicked five conversions and two penalties

However, he did blot his copybook by being yellow-carded for stamping in the second half.

In other results, Ben Mowen's double was enough for Montpellier to get a vital away win at Bayonne, Toulouse ended their run of five straight defeats with a 22-10 win over Stade Français, La Rochelle claimed a comprehensive 29-10 victory over Lyon in the battle of the promoted sides at Marcel Deflandre, Racing Métro scored seven tries to beat Brive 46-32, and Bordeaux produced the performance of the season so far to hammer Clermont 51-21 at Chaban Delmas, running in six tries.
