Blitzboks star Werner Kok will join Top 14 champions Toulouse for a four-month stint as a medical joker in July.

Kok’s status a medical joker means that he will provide cover between July and November while Toulouse’s frontline players are away on World Cup duty.

The 26-year-old has had previous experience in the 15-man game, playing as a centre for Western Province in the 2016 Currie Cup.

Kok is still available for Blitzboks selection next season, when Neil Powell’s side will target the Olympic Games.
