Kolisi out for a month

Western Province loose forward Siya Kolisi faces a month on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in the loss to the Golden Lions on Saturday.

Kolisi went off in the eighth minute of the defeat on the highveld and Allister Coetzee confirmed on Monday that he faces a race to be fit for the Currie Cup play-offs. He suffered a grade one tear in his medial collateral ligament in both knees and could be ruled out for up to six weeks.

Meanwhile, Stephan Coetzee (ankle) and Kobus van Wyk (concussion) are also in doubt for this weekend's game against Griquas at Newlands, although a decision on their participation will be taken later in the week.

On a positive note, Scarra Ntubeni will be fit to start after coming through unscathed on his return to action at the weekend, as will Oliver Kebble, who has been coaxed back to full fitness following an ankle injury.
