Siya Kolisi is reportedly considering retiring from international rugby after leading the Springboks’ 2023 World Cup defence in France.
It is also understood that his desire to play at the Rugby World Cup this year, as well as the possibility of reaching 100 Tests, was the reason a clause precluding him doing so did not make it into his contract with Racing 92.
According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, Kolisi, who will join Racing from the Sharks after the World Cup, has been in discussions with the French Top 14 club and his representatives over his international career.

It is believed that the 75-Test-capped flanker will make a final decision on his future following the global spectacle, which kicks off in September.
Rapport also suggests that the 31-year-old is mulling over relinquishing the Bok captaincy post-World Cup to focus on just playing for his country, which may hinge on whether Rassie Erasmus and Jacques Nienaber stay on as SA’s director of rugby and head coach, respectively.
