Lappies Labuschagne and Louis Fouché will join the Kubota Spears ahead of the 2016-17 season.

Labuschagne will leave the Bulls after this season and the deal is expected to see him ply his trade solely in Japan as opposed to the sort of split-contract allowing him return to Super Rugby next year.

Fouché, who has been playing for the Kings this season, will also join a growing South African contingent at the Spears, a club coached by former Bulls coach Frans Ludeke.
