Willie le Roux is one of three high profile players who are expected to leave Wasps at the end of the English Premiership season.

The Springbok fullback endured a shaky start to his career in England after joining from the Sharks, but has since established himself as an important cog in Wasps’ back three.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old is ready to take up a contract in Japan – where he has previously played for the Canon Eagles – at the end of the season.

Reports have recently surfaced that the move is related to the fact that Le Roux missed a good portion of the Premiership season while on Bok duty this year.

Le Roux could be joined in exiting the club by utility back Elliot Daly and No 8 Nathan Hughes. Daly is thought to have come to an agreement to join Saracens, while Hughes has been targeted by the Bristol Bears.
