The Bok lock had a blinder in Bloem during the 69 minutes he spent on the field.

He made 56 running metres from nine carries, beat three defenders, and completed five tackles (while missing none).

De Jager also secured five of the Cheetahs' lineouts, and stole one of the Kings'.
