Lions flank available for third Test

Sean O'Brien has been cleared to play in the third Test against the All Blacks following a judicial hearing in Wellington on Sunday.

Australian citing commissioner Scott Nowland ruled the officials had missed a red-card offence when O'Brien's swinging arm made contact with the head area of All Blacks winger Waisake Naholo during the second Test.

However, the judicial committee disagreed and the Lions flank will be available for the series decider.

'Having conducted a detailed review of all the evidence available, including all video footage and additional evidence from the player and submissions from his legal representative Max Duthie, the independent judicial committee dismissed the citing complaint,' NZ Rugby said in a statement.
