Salmaan Moerat will wear the Stormers captain’s armband for the first time in their Preparation Series clash with the Vodacom Bulls in Pretoria on Friday.
Moerat is one of several players to come into the starting lineup for the North-South encounter at Loftus Versfeld, which kicks off at 7pm.
Damian Willemse, fresh from signing a new three-year deal with the Stormers, is also back and starts at fullback, with Kade Wolhuter continuing at flyhalf after firing in the first two pre-season matches.
