Paris blockbuster to start 2026 Six Nations

The 2026 Six Nations will kick off with a clash between France and Ireland in Paris on Thursday, 5 February.

The tournament starts on a Thursday rather than a Friday to avoid a clash with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics on 6 February.

Les Bleus beat Ireland 42-27 in Dublin on their way to winning this year’s title.

The defending champions will have three home fixtures in 2026, hosting Italy in round 3 and England in round 5.

‘Le Crunch’ serves as the final fixture of Super Saturday, on 14 March.
