Brumbies flanker David Pocock has received a three-week suspension for foul play. 

Pocock grasped the neck of Chiefs No 8 Michael Leitch during a maul in last Saturday's game in Canberra, with Sanzaar judicial officer Adam Cassleden accepting a guilty plea before handing down a three-week ban on Tuesday.

With the Brumbies having a bye this weekend, Pocock has effectively only received a two-match sanction, and will miss the games against the Waratahs and Crusaders.
