Defending Currie Cup champions, the Pumas laid waste to the Blue Bulls in their opening round clash at Loftus on Sunday afternoon.
The travelling side put in a dominant first-half performance, scoring four tries while the hosts were held to just one try and a penalty in the first 40 minutes to make it 27-8 to the Pumas at half time on the highveld.
The visitors go into the break leading by 19.

The next 40 minutes were even worse for the Bulls. The Pumas ran in five tries over the course of the second half, while the hosts managed to cross the line only once more, in the 78th minute of the match.
The rampage from the reigning champs ended with the final score of 63-15.
Pumas prop Eduan Swart was responsible for a five pointer on either side of half time, while centre Diego Appollis scored a brace in the second half. Flyhalf Tinus de Beer had a good outing with the boot, contributing four conversions and a penalty.
