Take a look back at some of the highlights of legendary former Springbok centre Danie Gerber, who recently tested positive for Covid-19. Our thoughts are with the Bok legend at this time, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Regarded as one of the most gifted centres ever to play international rugby, Gerber scored an impressive 19 tries in 24 Tests for his country between 1980 and 1992, with his international career unfortunately limited due to South Africa’s sporting isolation.
