Junior Springbok coaching consultant Johan Ackermann might not travel with the team to Italy for the World Rugby U20 Championship.
The former Lions boss joined the Junior Boks’ set-up in January after returning to South Africa from Japan where he had coached the Red Hurricanes and Urayasu D-Rocks.
Ackermann’s six-month contract with SA Rugby ends on 30 June and no agreement has been reached to extend it, according to Rapport.

The World Rugby U20 Championship takes place from 29 June to 19 July.
Two sources told Rapport that overseas clubs are interested in Ackermann and may want him to start in July so that he is part of pre-season preparations.
