Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu is set to make his return from injury for the DHL Stormers in the Vodacom URC coastal derby with the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.
John Dobson told Sunday newspaper Rapport that Feinberg-Mngomezulu has recovered from the knee injury suffered in his debut Springbok campaign in September.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu played through the injury during the Rugby Championship clash with the All Blacks in Cape Town, and was ruled out of the DHL Stormers’ opening Vodacom URC fixtures.
The 22-year-old’s availability will come as a massive boost to the Stormers, especially with Damian Willemse expected to be out until next year.
Dobson confirmed that Willemse, who suffered a groin muscle injury in the clash with Glasgow Warriors in Stellenbosch, will only return next March.
Meanwhile, the Stormers will welcome back enforcer Salmaan Moerat and loose forward Ben-Jason Dixon in action against the Sharks.
Veteran forwards Frans Malherbe and Deon Fourie will be back in December, while loose forward Evan Roos will return towards the end of January.
