Scarlets surge past Kings

The Kings suffered an 11th loss of the season as a late flourish from the Scarlets helped them cruise to a 36-17 bonus-point win in Llanelli on Sunday.

It’s been yet another season to forget for the struggling Kings, and while they were very much in this match for the majority of proceedings, they ultimately tired in the final half an hour.

It was during this time that the Scarlets ran in four tries to record a convincing win.

For the Kings, it was yet another disappointing defeat, with the Eastern Cape side having managed just one victory this season, which came way back in early November.

The only slight good news is that their tour travels are at least over, and they can look forward to a game against Connacht in Port Elizabeth next weekend.
