Sharks’ big guns aim at Stormers

The Sharks welcome back four Springboks for Saturday’s Vodacom URC clash against the Stormers in Cape Town.

Centres Andre Esterhuizen and Ethan Hooker, scrumhalf Grant Williams and flank Siya Kolisi all return to the match 23 after being rested for last weekend’s Investec Champions Cup win over Clermont.

Esterhuizen regains the captaincy, while Kolisi has been named on the bench for what will be one of his final appearances against the Stormers before rejoining them in July.

There are three changes in the pack, with Vincent Koch and Phatu Ganyane rotating at loosehead prop, Emile van Heerden coming into the second row and Phepsi Buthelezi starting at openside flank.

The backline also sees fresh legs, with Jaco Williams coming in on the left wing.

The Sharks are 14th on the log and seeking their first URC win against the Stormers in Cape Town in five attempts.
