Sharks under injury cloud

Thomas du Toit remains doubtful for the Sharks, while several other players might miss the match against the EP Kings in Durban on Saturday.

Du Toit is still struggling with the toe injury that kept him out of the victory over the Blue Bulls and Sharks doctor Alan Kourie says he is unlikely to be risked for the weekend's fixture.

Conrad Hoffman, who withdrew on the eve of the match in Pretoria, is still struggling with a buttock strain and a call will be made later in the week.

The same goes for Stephan Lewies (knee) and Jacques Botes (shoulder), who will need to pass a fitness test if they're to take the field against the Kings.

The Sharks got back to winning ways against the Bulls at the weekend, although, with upcoming matches against the Golden Lions and Western Province, they will be looking for a full haul of log points against the bottom-dwelling Kings.
