Six moments that mattered

The key moments from the Vodacom Super Rugby match between the Sharks and Lions at Kings Park, according to SIMON BORCHARDT.

9th minute – Warwick Tecklenburg loses possession just inside the Sharks half, and the ball is sent wide to Lwazi Mvovi, who kicks ahead. The ball bounces perfectly for Paul Jordaan to score the opening try.

34th minute – Frans Steyn kicks his third long-range penalty, this time from inside his own half.

38th minute – Cobus Reinach breaks away from a Sharks lineout and steps Chrysander Botha, scoring a try that gives the Sharks a 23-9 lead at the break.

50th minute – Elton Jantjies' chip-kick near halfway is charged down and Marcell Coetzee puts Odwa Ndungane away for the Sharks' third try. 

68th minute – The Lions maul into the Sharks' 22 before sending it wide to Marnitz Boshoff, whose grubber is chased down by Deon van Rensburg. The try brings the visitors back to within seven.

80th minute – With 15 seconds to go, Coetzee is driven over for the Sharks' bonus-point try.
