Six Saffas to join Jake

Montpellier have announced the signing of 11 new players, including six South Africans.

The French club is coached by Jake White, who recently signed a two-year contract extension.

The South Africans set to join the club are Lions prop Schalk van der Merwe, Grenoble and former Vodacom Bulls lock Paul Willemse, Bulls loose forwards Jacques du Plessis and Wiaan Liebenberg, Stormers flyhalf Demetri Catrakilis, and Sharks scrumhalf Cameron Wright. The Du Plessis brothers, Bismarck and Jannie, have also been linked with a move to Montpellier, although nothing has been confirmed.

Brumbies scrumhalf Nic White and fullback Jesse Mogg will also be joining the club, while the other new signings are wingers Julien Malzieu (Clermont), Marvin O'Connor (Bayonne) and Seveci Nakailagi (Fiji).

Montpellier finished eighth in this season's Top 14.
