Harold Vorster, Fabian Booysen and Lionel Mapoe will miss the Lions' match against the Highlanders in Dunedin on Saturday.

Vorster (knee) and Booysen (eyelid) were injured in the match against the Chiefs, while Mapoe heads home to be at his girlfriend's side for the birth of their baby.

Replacement centre Jacques Nel will fly out on Sunday evening to join the Lions in Rotorua, where they are based for the next four days.
