Nafi Tuitavake is set to make his first appearance for the Vodacom Bulls in the injury-enforced absence of Burger Odendaal against the Jaguares on Saturday.
Bulls captain Odendaal has been ruled out of the match with an ankle injury he picked up in the narrow loss to the Blues last weekend.
In his absence, Tuitavake, who won 20 caps for the Crusaders after making his tournament debut in 2014, takes up a place in the midfield alongside Johnny Kotze, who shifts to inside centre.
Vice-captain Trevor Nyakane will lead the team.
Meanwhile, there is a first season start for scrumhalf Embrose Papier and fit-again flank Marco van Staden. The two replace Ivan van Zyl and Wian Vosloo, respectively.
The rest of the team remains unchanged, with fullback Warrick Gelant set to win his 50th Super Rugby cap on Saturday.
