Wales’ injury woes continue

Wales fullback Liam Williams has been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup with a foot injury.

Williams hobbled off during Wales' 15-6 defeat to Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.

Wales have already lost the services of fellow backs Leigh Halfpenny, Rhys Webb, Hallam Amos, Jonathan Davies, Scott Williams, Cory Allen and Eli Walker.

'It's a big blow,' said Wales kicking coach Neil Jenkins. 'He's been an outstanding player for us and did incredibly well to come back from his injury in the summer to get back up and running and get fit.

'He's been playing outstandingly well, and did pretty well again yesterday until his injury. He's a huge loss, but we've had quite a few of them and we've just got to get on with it.'
