Moana Pasifika made it back-to-back wins for the first time in Super Rugby on Saturday, while Beauden Barrett proved the difference for the Blues against his former team, Hurricanes.
Despite trailing 21-7 at half time to the Waraths, the Pacific Islanders unleashed an offensive masterclass after the break, with prop Feleti Sae-Ta’ufo’ou completing a hat-trick in a 45-28 win in Auckland.

At Eden Park, Barrett contributed 16 points in a 19-18 victory for the defending champions. Barrett’s long-range penalty sealed the win, their second of the season, despite a late Hurricanes surge.

Elsewhere, Will Jordan orchestrated the Crusaders’ maiden triumph in Fiji, setting up three tries in a 31-14 rout of the Drua to move second on the table.
