Ramone Samuels and Johan du Toit are set to miss Western Province’s Currie Cup campaign due to long-term injuries.
Samuels was injured in Western Province’s warm-up game against Montpellier last Thursday, while Du Toit has been sidelined once again with a serious knee injury. Both players will undergo surgery.
In addition, there is some concern over a neck injury recently suffered by Cobus Wiese and a hip injury sustained by Jean-Luc du Plessis.
Province will kick off their title defence against Free State this Saturday.
