Former Northern Transvaal and Springbok wing Darius Botha, the brother of Naas, has died of cancer at age 62.

Botha played one Test, against the All Blacks in Christchurch in 1981, and in five Currie Cup finals for the Blue Bulls.

The church minister was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February 2014 and underwent surgery to remove it.

However, the cancer returned in November last year.
