Blommetjies to tackle Boks
- 26 Oct 2016
Cheetahs fullback Clayton Blommetjies has been included in the Barbarians squad to play the Springboks in London on 5 November.
The BaaBaas will play three games – against the Boks, Czech Republic and Fiji – during the November internationals.
Blommetjies has developed into a key player for the Cheetahs, but failed to crack the nod for the Boks despite his good form.
'I was told that I'd be considered for all three games,' Blommetjies told Netwerk24. 'I feel honoured to have received an invitation.'
The 26-year-old will depart for England on Saturday to join the rest of the Barbarians squad, who are already busy preparing in London.
