Springboks stay second

The Springboks cemented their second spot in the latest IRB rankings following their 28-10 victory over the Wallabies in Cape Town.

The Boks moved from 88.24 to 89.27 ranking points, closing the gap between themselves and the All Blacks, while also increasing their lead over the Australians by 2.20 points.

The world champions' convincing 34-13 win over the Pumas in La Plata didn't have any impact on the latest rankings, because Argentina are ranked to low.
