Sharks stalwart Keegan Daniel has been ruled out for 12 weeks after suffering a fractured forearm in a warm-up game on Friday.

Daniel successfully underwent an operation on Saturday, but will miss the first half of Super Rugby.

The Sharks' next warm-up game is against a Bulls XV in Durban this Friday.
