Olivier suffers triple face fracture
- 08 Jan 2014
Former Springbok and current Montpellier centre Wynand Olivier has sustained a facial injury during training.
Olivier has a triple fracture after his face was stepped on accidentally, resulting in two fractures to his cheekbone and one to his eye socket.
‘3 fractures in my face! Not the ideal start to the year,’ tweeted Olivier, who has 37 Test caps for South Africa.
Olivier also recently signed a one-year contract extension to keep the ex-Bulls player in France, with the option of another year if he chooses to stay at the club.
