Lionel Mapoe will start at outside centre for a Lions side that sees three changes ahead of the clash with the Crusaders.
Mapoe's return to the starting side sees Deon van Rensburg shifting to the wing. Andries Coetzee will start at fullback, while lock Martin Muller is brought into the side to offset the loss of Franco van der Merwe.
Elton Jantjies has been included on the Lions bench.
