Highlanders welcome back Christie

Shane Christie will make his first appearance of the season for the Highlanders' against the Waratahs on Saturday.

The Tasman flank injured his hamstring during the pre-season. His inclusion sees Elliot Dixon move to No 6.

Tom Franklin will start at No 4 lock after impressing off the bench and a reshuffle in the front row sees Ross Geldenhuys at tighthead prop.

Pingi Tala’apitaga provides cover on the bench for Ma’afu Fia who received a knee injury during last week’s game against the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, the Waratahs have named an unchanged starting lineup for the match.
