Speedster Devon Williams says the Pumas will take down the Free State Cheetahs and retain the Currie Cup crown when the teams clash in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
The defending champions earned their spot in the decider with a narrow win against the Sharks at Kings Park last week.
The Pumas and Cheetahs have shown their quality and varied gameplay throughout the campaign, and have beaten each other away from home this season.
Speaking as the Pumas prepare for a second Currie Cup final outing, Williams told Netwerk24: “The guys are pretty calm. I think we have to make sure that all the players buy into the plan we have for the weekend.
“We have a plan, just like the Cheetahs have one. The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win the game.

“We said to each other at half time [against the Sharks], ‘If someone had told us at the beginning of the season that we would be playing in the semi-finals and would be two points ahead at half time against the Sharks in Durban, we wouldn’t believe it’.
“No-one would have believed it. I think the self confidence that is there in the team is great.”
Williams, who has top scored with seven tries and set up plenty more for his teammates en route to the final, is confident of returning to Nelspruit a back-to-back champion.
He added: “I’m definitely enjoying myself on the field. I play with great guys and we have a good team spirit. All this makes my job much easier.”
