Eddie Jones has recalled experienced scrumhalf Nic White in one of three changes to the starting lineup for the big World Cup Pool C clash with Fiji on Sunday.
Jones has made three changes to his starting XV from the team that comfortably defeated Georgia in the opening round of the World Cup.
The Wallabies have been dealt an injury blow by losing tighthead prop Taniela Tupou for Sunday’s match in Paris. Centurion James Slipper is called up to the starting lineup after playing off the bench at loosehead against Georgia. Slipper will be making just his third start at tighthead prop, his previous appearance in the No 3 jersey coming in 2021.
63-Test scrumhalf White forms a new-look halfback combination with rookie flyhalf Carter Gordon, while fullback Ben Donaldson has retained the No 15 jersey after scoring 25 points in his World Cup debut.
The only other change to the starting lineup sees Nick Frost rotate with Richie Arnold in the second row alongside captain Will Skelton.
