It’s final time! Can Fiji’s flying freight train, Rupeni Caucaunibuca take down South Africa’s legendary winger Bryan Habana to be crowned rugby’s greatest finisher?
Nicknamed the “Bua Bullet”, Caucau was rapid. Assembled on a 110kg-frame, he was clocked at 10.4 over 100m, making the Fijian a nightmarish prospect for any defender as France and Scotland found out in the 2003 World Cup held in Australia.
Caucau’s international career was short-lived, playing only eight matches for Fiji, but he boasted a terrific 1.25 strike-rate, scoring 10 tries in eight Tests.
Caucau also had a relatively short stint with the Blues in New Zealand. Playing only 14 games, he was prolific and dotted down 15 times, including a scintillating hat-trick against the Crusaders.
The speedster’s longest commitment to a club was with Agen in France, making 113 appearances and scoring 65 tries.

But Habana won’t be one of Caucau’s easy run-overs.
After joining the battle in the third head-to-head showdown of the series, Habana smoked Shane Williams before running Izzy Folau dizzy in the penultimate round to waltz into the final.
He is South Africa’s all-time leading try scorer, the world’s second most prolific finisher, a World Cup winner and British and Irish Lions slayer. But is he the best finisher of all time? Have your say below!
