An All Blacks and Crusaders back is reportedly set to accept a big-money move to French Top 14 side Castres Olympique at the end of the season.
According to Stuff.co.nz, Jack Goodhue has been on the club’s radar for some time now, and Castres is prepared to “break the bank’’ in an attempt to convince the Crusaders stalwart for a move to the south of France.

The 28-year-old midfielder has donned the famous Saders jersey since his debut in 2017, making close to 90 appearances for the Christchurch-based outfit while appearing in 18 Tests for the All Blacks.
French newspaper Midi Olympique reported that Castres, who finished ninth in the top 14 this season, is keen on making a ”huge splash” by securing some important new players with Goodhue appearing to be at the top of that list.

The Kiwi has endured a couple of up-and-down seasons since making his Test debut in 2019, suffering from several knee injuries while struggling to find form.
However, he returned this season and showed glimpses of his earlier years as he formed a crucial centre partnership with Braydon Ennor, helping the Crusaders reach a seventh successive Super Rugby final.
