Blitzboks captain Selvyn Davids is among a trio of playmakers who will miss the Hong Kong Sevens quarter-final against Australia on Saturday afternoon.
The unbeaten Blitzboks topped Pool C of the Hong Kong Sevens with a commanding victory against Samoa on Saturday morning, but it came at a massive cost.

Davids has been handed a three-game suspension for a dangerous tackle in the final pool game and will sit out the rest of the tournament, including the quarter-final against Australia at 12.01pm.

The Blitzboks are already without veteran Justin Geduld, who is serving a ban for his red card in the opening pool match against Ireland.
Adding to the Springbok Sevens’ worries, Ronald Brown picked up an injury against Samoa and will also miss the cup quarter-final.
