The Stormers have confirmed that former Springbok centre Juan de Jongh has officially retired from professional rugby.
In a statement on social media, the Stormers announced that De Jongh has decided to hang up his boots, bringing an end to his 14-year professional career.

The 35-year-old reached his Stormers century in his second stint in Cape Town, while he also played over 70 games for Western Province, having made his Super Rugby debut in 2010.
De Jongh made his Test debut in 2010 against Wales and went on to make 19 appearances for the Springboks, with his last Test coming in 2016 against New Zealand at Kings Park. He also enjoyed two separate stints with the Blitzboks and was part of the team that won an Olympic Games bronze in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
