• Brumbies bench White

Michael Dowsett will start at scrumhalf for the Brumbies against the Rebels in Canberra on Saturday.

Dowsett comes in for Nic White, who drops to the bench.

Injuries to Scott Sio, Tevita Kuridrani, Matt Toomua and James Dargaville have forced coach Steven Larkham to make several other changes to the team that lost 16-14 to the Blues in Auckland.

Lausii Taliauli will start on the right wing, with Nigel Ah Wong at inside centre and Christian Lealiifano shifting to flyhalf.

Among the pack, JP Smith starts at loosehead prop with Rory Arnold back at No 4 lock having recovered from a back complaint.

Meanwhile, Rebels coach Tony McGahan has shown faith in his match 23 who defeated the Reds a fortnight ago, by naming an unchanged team for the derby in the Australian capital.
