Former Sharks prop Mees Erasmus has been named in the Brumbies’ squad for the 2018 Super Rugby season.
Erasmus, who attended Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and played for the Sharks at U21 level and in the Vodacom Cup, is one of nine new signings. The 23-year-old joins the Brumbies after spending two seasons at the Western Force as part of their ‘Future Force’ development squad.
Additionally, the Canberra-based side has been bolstered by the return of star loose forward David Pocock, who was on a sabbatical throughout 2017. Playmaker Christian Leali’ifano has also been named in the group and will join his teammates in pre-season training after his loan spell at Ulster.
