Bulls lose Beyers

Blue Bulls fullback Ulrich Beyers has been ruled out of the Currie Cup final against the Cheetahs with a dislocated shoulder.

Beyers was forced to leave the field in the semi-final against Western Province and according to SuperSport.com, doctors confirmed on Monday the 25-year-old suffered a shoulder dislocation.

Meanwhile, RG Snyman could well feature for the Bulls in the final. The towering lock looked set to miss Saturday's clash with the Cheetahs due to a fractured eye socket, but team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed Snyman could return to action soon.

'He got concussed and had a minor fracture on his sinus. After consultation with a specialist, he had a minor procedure. His recovery will be much sooner than initially expected,' said Rossouw.

He added that fullback Duncan Matthews has started training with the team on Monday after recovering from his knee injury.
