Marcel van der Merwe has been ruled out of the Vodacom Bulls' match against the Stormers at Loftus on 14 February.

The Bok prop sustained a medial knee ligament injury during the second half of the pre-season game against Saracens in London on Saturday.

Van der Merwe also pulled his hamstring and would be out for three to four weeks, Bulls team doctor Org Strauss confirmed.
