Captain Burger Odendaal is likely to miss the Vodacom Bulls’ match against the Jaguares at Loftus on Saturday due to injury.
The 26-year-old skipper is the only new casualty on the Bulls’ injury list, having complained of a sore ankle during the team’s post-match medical examination.
Odendaal suffered the injury in the game against the Blues this past Saturday. Scans have since revealed that there is bruising of his ligaments and a call on his availability will only be made later in the week.

Meanwhile, prop Simphiwe Matanzima (AC joint) and hooker Louis van der Westhuizen (ankle) will both be sidelined for another week, while hooker Johan Grobbelaar is expected to be out for five weeks after undergoing ankle surgery in Cape Town on last Monday.
