England centre Luther Burrell will miss Saturday's Test against the Springboks at Twickenham with a hand injury.

Burrell played no part in the 24-21 defeat to the All Blacks at the weekend and will continue his rehabilitation from the injury he suffered while on duty for the Northampton Saints.

Meanwhile, lock Courtney Lawes remains a doubt after he was concussed in the first half of the match against the All Blacks. He will follow the return-to-play protocols this week but, should he be ruled out, it will be another massive blow for England who are already without his regular second-row partner Joe Launchbury.

Coach Stuart Lancaster is expected to name his match-day 23 on Tuesday evening, with the starting XV being announced two days later.
