Consistency key for Pumas

Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse has made just one change for his side's Currie Cup match against the Sharks in Durban on Friday.

Giant Mtyanda's inclusion at lock is the only change to the side who defeated the Cheetahs 28-21 in their opening match in Nelspruit.

Marius Coetzer will move to the bench, where he will be joined by flying winger Rosco Speckman, who was a late withdrawal against the Cheetahs.

The Pumas have caused the Sharks problems in the past and are likely to stick to their forward-dominated approach that worked so well against the men from Bloemfontein.

Stonehouse was pleased to get the campaign off to a winning start, although he is hoping to see an improvement this week.

'For the first game back in the Currie Cup it wasn't too bad, but I would like to see us make better use of our opportunities,' he said.

'We should be better on Friday evening. We will face a much stronger team but we hope it will go better.'
