The Springboks suffered an injury scare on Monday when Damian de Allende was reportedly forced out of a training session.
According to Netwerk24, De Allende returned to the team hotel by himself in clear discomfort while his teammates continued with the session. The world champions are set to battle England at Twickenham on Saturday.

While it may have been a precautionary measure to prevent further injury in cold conditions, the Springboks will be awaiting further updates on De Allende’s availability.
The inside centre has been in excellent form this year and was set to resume his midfield partnership with Jesse Kriel for the final match of the outgoing tour, having played alongside Andre Esterhuizen in the nine-try win over Italy last weekend.
Should De Allende be ruled out of Saturday’s Test at Twickenham, that could mean a shift in position for Damian Willemse from flyhalf to inside centre.

That, in turn, would bring Manie Libbok in for his first Test start. The DHL Stormers playmaker made his first two appearances off the bench for the Springboks and was particularly impressive with his distribution and goalkicking against Italy.
The Springboks would arguably need Libbok in the No 10 jersey for his goalkicking, as Cheslin Kolbe, who has been the first-choice kicking option on tour, is not available.
Faf de Klerk and Willemse are alternative options to take shots at goal.
Jacques Nienaber is set to name the team to face England on Tuesday afternoon.
