The Vodacom Bulls will strengthen their squad by bringing two experienced South Africans back home from the northern hemisphere next season.
According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, Jannes Kirsten and utility back Henry Immelman have both signed for the Vodacom Bulls and are expected to arrive in Pretoria ahead of the 2022-23 season on 1 July.

A return to Pretoria for Kirsten had been heavily rumoured earlier last week as the utility forward is expected to be part of an exodus of Exeter Chiefs players, due to the Premiership’s new salary cap. England internationals Sam Simmonds and Luke Cowan-Dickie are also heading out, after signing for Montpellier.
Kirsten began his career with the Vodacom Bulls before joining Exeter in 2019 and winning a Premiership and Champions Cup double in his first season in England. He was named as Exeter’s Player of the Year for 2022.
Meanwhile, Vodacom Bulls head coach Jake White will also be reunited with Edinburgh back Immelman, having coached him when the two were at Montpellier.
The 27-year-old Immelman started his career in the Free State, before moving to France with Montpellier in 2016 and then joined Edinburgh in 2021.
Immelman is able to play at centre, wing and fullback, with the latter as his preferred position.
