Duhan van der Merwe is among the Scotland internationals recalled by Edinburgh for the Vodacom URC clash with the Sharks on Saturday.
Van der Merwe, rested for the clash with the DHL Stormers in Cape Town, is back on the left wing, as former Sharks coach Sean Everitt received a timely boost for his return to Kings Park.
The big Scotland winger scored five tries in the Six Nations and will start his first game for Edinburgh since January.
Also returning for Edinburgh is loosehead prop Pierre Schoeman, who will team up with fellow Scotland international WP Nel to scrum against an all-Springbok Sharks front row.
