Eben Etzebeth led the charge and was voted MVP after the Springboks survived a scrappy Rugby Championship finale Test against Argentina at Ellis Park.
In a poll run after the final whistle, 35% of fans decided that Etzebeth had the greatest influence for the Boks in the one-point victory over Los Pumas, ahead of Steven Kitshoff (16%) and Faf de Klerk (11%).

Etzebeth scored a try in the first half and made 24 metres from eight carries, beating three defenders, while defensively he made an outstanding 16 tackles as the Boks were made to sweat in the second half.
