Former England boss Eddie Jones will be back in the coaches’ box at Twickenham when the Roses host Japan in November in their fourth and final Test of the 2024 season.
The fixture, which will take place on the weekend of 23 November, follows three home Tests for England against New Zealand, Australia and world champions South Africa.
Japan, coached by Jones, will be playing their first match at Twickenham in just over two years since a 52-13 defeat. Jones’s seven-year tenure as head coach of England ended in 2022 when the veteran coach was sacked.

Jones, who quit his native Australia after leading them to a dismal showing at the 2023 Rugby World Cup, previously coached Japan for three years from 2012 and led them to their historic win over South Africa at the 2015 World Cup.
The teams last met at the Rugby World Cup in France in October, with England’s 34-12 bonus-point win in Nice helping Steve Borthwick’s men qualify out of Pool D on their way to finishing third in the showpiece tournament.
